Resilience analysis and optimal control of grid‐connected converters under unbalanced voltage conditions

The operational stability of grid-connected converters is affected by unbalanced grid voltage, which often leads to overcurrent. traditional control method maintains the grid-into current within rated limit adjusting reference value. However, this limits output active power and affects their reliability, can cause shortage or even disconnection grid. To deal with issue, paper proposes an effective strategy. First, interaction between AC DC sides under voltage conditions analysed. Second, resilience defined elaborated. Third, considering various constraints such as harmonics, fluctuations side fluctuations, operation range calculated. Based on range, optimal operating point selected strategy developed. Compared strategy, proposed allows improving maximum capacity conditions, while simultaneously limiting distortions allowable range. Last, simulation experimental results show effectiveness feasibility
